Rober Waters in Dallas
"Wow; what a grandois production!!!
Music was definitely worthwhile, but the show was spectacular. I saw Gilmour, Mason & Wright at Royal Albert Hall in 06 and it was all about the music and lighting. It looked like Roger was trying to outdo Peter Gabriel in the early Genesis years. I can definitely see why they split in the early to mid-80s if this is where Pink Floyd was heading.
Never knew any member of the group to grandois a big change from the Jelly Roll-Gilmour Pink Floyd era. Hard to believe this is the same guy who did Live from Pompeii. The lead singer sounded like David Gilmour to me--I know that Waters got the Wall in his settlement w/ Gilmour and Mason; so he probably has the right to do that. But, it sounded an awful lot like Hey You (w/ the wall totally constructed) was played off of the Live Wall album. (Crosby & Nash were the back up singers)"
